Cinema Takedown

The Babadook (2014) - A psychological horror story about two siblings who have been haunted by a creature from a young-adult novel is a frightening as well as emotional film. Its direction by Jennifer Kent is (blog post) masterful, and the acting by Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman are both excellent.
